OneWoW is a modular World of Warcraft addon suite for Retail. One shared hub, optional features you turn on only when you need them, and eleven client languages.
Official site: https://onewow.net/. Source: GitHub.
Public source
The suite is public so you can read the code, open an issue, or send a pull request. That is not a grant to republish OneWoW as your own addon.
You may install and use the official build, tweak it privately, and contribute (including original QoL modules). You may not distribute a modified OneWoW, copy the suite into another addon, or drop credit. QoL modules show their author in the in-game Details dialog. Contributing a module is not exclusive ownership; the team may edit the shipped copy, and credit stays with the original author until a rewrite. License: LICENSE.md.
Who ships it
Two full-time developers maintain OneWoW. AI is a tool in the workflow, the same way most modern shops write software. Humans set the architecture, review what ships, and stand behind it.
We do not hide that. We also do not ask anyone to take it on faith. The code is there to inspect.
Quality bar
We target Retail 12.1+ Wow API. The repo uses LuaLS / Ketho-style API definitions and the same class of checks people talk about when they review addons. Feature modules unload when you turn them off. Shared UI and SavedVariables go through one toolkit instead of eleven one-off copies.
If you think the suite is slop, read it. We stand by what is in GitHub.
What the suite covers
- AltTracker — account-wide alts, gold, professions, and progress
- Catalog — instances, vendors, professions, recipes, and quests
- Trackers — custom lists for guides, dailies, todos, and farm value
- Bags — bag organization and search
- QoL, Notes, Shopping List, Mail, Direct Deposit
You do not need every folder. Enable what you use under Manage Features.
Web armory
A free companion lives at https://app.onewow.net/. Sign in with Battle.net and see your roster, gear, gold, vault, collections, and progress on any device. An optional PC upload (OneWoW CompSync) fills bags, banks, and lockouts. In-game tracking stays in AltTracker.
Send missing Catalog facts
If you find a quest, NPC, or profession recipe Catalog does not have yet, OneWoW can flag it while you play. CompSync can send those flags so they may appear in a later OneWoW release. This does not upload your bags, gold, or settings.
- Play. Talk to NPCs, open quests, and open profession windows.
- Log out of WoW so the files are written.
- Sign in at app.onewow.net and create an upload token.
- In CompSync, paste that token on Cloud, pick your account, then either leave Also upload Contribute data checked when you sync, or use the Contribute tab: Refresh, then Upload Contribute data.
You will not see a Contribute page or new Catalog rows on the website. The facts wait for a later addon release. See FAQ and Catalog.
